What does a readiness score mean in Rivel?
Readiness is a daily summary of recovery-related signals. Rivel presents a percentage and a plain-language status so you can review your body’s signals before deciding how hard to train. It is a guide for reflection, not a guarantee of performance or a diagnosis.
Which signals contribute to readiness?
Rivel combines sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate from Apple Health. The readiness screen shows the signals that moved your score, giving the number context instead of leaving you with an unexplained percentage.
How do I use it before a workout?
Open Rivel, check your readiness, then look at sleep and your recent effort. Consider those signals alongside how you actually feel. A score should support your judgment, not override discomfort, fatigue, or advice from a health professional.
Why can the score change from day to day?
The data available in Apple Health changes as your watch records and syncs new readings. Sleep and heart-related signals can also vary between days. Look at the contributing signals and the last-sync time when a result surprises you.
What do I need to get started?
Use an Apple Watch with your iPhone and grant Rivel the relevant Apple Health permissions. Wearing the watch during sleep helps provide the overnight information used in your daily picture.
