Terms for using Rivel, its wellness features and website.

About these terms
These terms describe use of Rivel and this website, provided by Vakas Siddiqui. Contact hello@rivelapp.com with questions. By using Rivel, you agree to the terms applicable to your use. If you cannot legally agree to them yourself, use the app only with the appropriate parent or guardian’s permission.
App license and Apple’s terms
For a version distributed through the App Store, the license to use the app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom license is explicitly presented with the app. These website and service terms supplement that license and do not replace it. Apple’s applicable usage and purchase terms also apply. Rivel is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
Fitness and wellness only
Rivel provides fitness and wellness information, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency monitoring. Scores and suggestions are estimates based on available data and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on Rivel to make medical decisions or disregard professional advice. Consider how you feel and seek appropriate professional guidance before making decisions about exercise or health.
Devices, permissions and accuracy
Rivel is designed for compatible iPhone and Apple Watch devices and uses Apple Health data you permit it to access. Features depend on device support, permissions, recording and synchronization. Missing or delayed source data can affect results. We do not promise any particular fitness result, score accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
Acceptable use
Use Rivel lawfully and for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to compromise security, interfere with the service, copy or redistribute protected materials without permission, or misuse another person’s information. Restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the app license.
Payments and subscriptions, if offered
If a release offers an App Store purchase, subscription or free trial, the price, billing period and trial conditions will be shown before you confirm. Apple handles App Store billing under its terms. Any automatic renewal and cancellation conditions are those disclosed at purchase. You can manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases are handled through Apple, subject to applicable consumer rights. This section does not mean that any particular paid plan is currently available.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains Health permissions, on-device processing, website information, support messages and deletion choices. You remain responsible for managing the security and access settings of your own device.
Ownership
Rivel’s name, original design, software and website materials remain the property of their respective owners. Using the app does not transfer ownership. Apple, Apple Watch, Apple Health and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Updates and availability
We may update features or these terms as the app evolves. Changes are described through the app, release information or this page as appropriate. We may restrict misuse or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any obligations relating to paid access. The date above identifies the current version of these terms.
Liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rivel is provided as available and without guarantees beyond those expressly stated or required by law. Rivel is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on incomplete device data, misuse of the app or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights. The applicable app license governs additional license-related warranty and liability provisions.
